Welcome to The Continental Times, a newspaper founded by Alex Culper and Simon Raynaud, independent journalists dedicated to fighting for the home we call the United States of America.

Our Mission Statement is to educate American citizens about the challenges we face domestically and internationally, while also developing a course of action to combat these issues.

Our goal with The Continental Times is to establish an easy-to-digest format that analyzes world events through an “America First” lens. It is one thing to identify the problems Americans face; it is an entirely separate battle to produce the solution.  By providing our readers with well-researched articles, insightful commentary, and a platform for open and honest discussion, we aim to empower individuals to become active participants in shaping their communities and the nation.

Although America First can mean many things to many different people, we at the Continental Times believe that means restoring America to its former glory. We do not wish to be regressive, yearning for impossible solutions to problems decades in the making; rather, we desire to move forward, tackling new issues that arise with new technology, with more new coming every day.

In order to restore America, we must metaphorically arm ourselves with knowledge of the world. We must educate ourselves, not just in the current happenings but what has led to the situations we face today. We all must discover and refine what talents we possess and use that for the betterment of our nation. The more equipped we are with knowledge and understanding of those skills, the more effective we can be in the fight for change.

Change does not happen overnight, but with continual effort and perseverance, we can make strides toward a better future for our nation. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was America. In order to win this war, it’s going to take everyone waking up each day and making a choice. A choice to be courageous. A choice to march on. A choice to reclaim what we once indisputably had.

The Greatest Nation in the World.

That is something we should all strive for.
